CONTEXT
The surface relief distorts and displays the “truth” reflected back from a wider lens.
CONCEPT
The TOPO-GRAPHs are emotional sleights of hand occurring at the intersection of our memories and spatial experiences. They are individual illusions which give us access to an expanded field of information about our environment.
PROCESS
The chamotte mass relief sculptures create illusions of depth somewhat like stereographs, through the combination of movement and multiple viewing planes.
